Phase I won the National Quality Engineering Silver Award 2004, the Fifth Tien-yow Jeme Civil Engineering Prize of China, and the National Top Ten Building Technology Achievements Award 2005; Phase II won China's Construction "Steel Structure Gold Award". It is the largest convention and exhibition center in Asia and was listed as one of the "Top 100 Classic and Excellent Projects" in the 60th Anniversary of Founding of the People's Republic of China.
Sophisticated construction technologies such as large-area concrete floor finishing in one operation, super-large span truss-string structure, super-large span and multi-span continuous ribbed beam slab bonded prestress, assembly of unit combined ceiling and installation of false ceiling have been applied to the project.
